Ford has released the highly anticipated 2021 Ford F-150, featuring redesigns of the exterior and interior, making this the 14th generation of the iconic F-150. A group of our Lewis Inventory Specialists and Management were fortunate enough to attend the recent reveal of the new trucks in Memphis, TN. I got a chance to talk to Hayden Miller, one of our Ford Inventory Specialists in our Fayetteville, AR store, to go over some of his favorite new features on the 2021 Ford F-150.

First up, the exterior redesign. Ford kept many of the elements and the overall shape of this truck recognizable, while fine-tuning the details to make this a fresh new offering in the Ford lineup. This new design features eleven different grille styles, all flanked by Ford's signature "C-Clamp" headlight pattern. There's also additional new detailing in the fog light surrounds and bumper covers.

Another area of the exterior that has had a facelift is the rear bumper, with sleek new styling for every trim level. This was one of Hayden's favorite features as well, but not just for the cosmetic factor. This new tailgate also comes with a completely flat tailgate option, so that your work surface can be extended through the entire bed of the truck, giving you the space to finish whatever work you need. Along with the tailgate, there's also a new in-bed power station. This is basically an integrated generator, with a 2,400 watt version that is standard on all PowerBoost models, with an optional 7,200 upgrade as well. That way, you don't have to stop what you're working on, no matter where you are. You've got the ability to power and charge your tools, toys, or other electronics, right from the bed of your truck.
Speaking of electronics, the interior of the 2021 Ford F-150 has had an update as well. Not only does Ford offer "over the air" updates to the technology within the truck, saving you the time of waiting on a tech in the shop to update your Sync 4, but they've updated the screens themselves. This infotainment system has been given an increased processing power, as well as the options of an 8-inch or 12-inch touch screen, accompanied by an available 12-inch digital cluster. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are both supported, and there's an option for Amazon Alexa integration as well.
We're beyond excited to start receiving these impressive new trucks, and are anticipating their arrival on the lot.
