One of the biggest growing types of restaurants, especially the ones of the unique and delicious variety, isn’t really a restaurant at all.  The Food Truck scene in Northwest Arkansas just seems to get better and better every year, with amazing food options in almost every city in this area.  It’s hard for any of our Lewis Automotive Group staff to pick any one favorite food truck to visit, since everyone’s tastes can range from burgers, thai food, southern soul food, or almost anything else you could dream up.  But, we wanted to pass along a list of Food Trucks near our Ford and Jeep dealerships in Fayetteville, for some ideas on places to try out.


Springdale: Raspados Mimi’s

If you're looking for delicious, and authentic, Mexican food with a ton of tasty snack options, as well as full meals, this little truck parked right by Lake Fayetteville has an entire menu full of amazing options.  You can find delicious shaved ice, with natural flavors like Fresa (strawberry), Pina (Watermelon), and Guayaba (Guava), as well as the traditional syrups.  Their specialties include Nachos, Fried Banana, and handmade Tamales.

Fayetteville: Burton's Comfort Creamery

While lunch is always a great idea in the middle of the day, dessert is top of the list at almost any time of day.  Burton's Creamery has been serving up premium soft-serve ice cream to it's NWA customers since 2014.  You'll get a base of their rich, creamy soft serve with a whole array of toppings, including Fruity Pebbles, huge chocolate chip cookie sandwiches, pretzels, and M&M's, just to name a few.  Whether you're craving chocolate, salty, sweet, or even spicy to go with your frozen treat, Burton's will have it covered.


Rogers: Rockin’ Pig Saloon 

This truck, located right alongside the Harley Davidson store in Rogers, AR, features a whole list of filling and amazing food options, like their Maine Lobster Roll, a Wagyu Brisket Cheesesteak sandwich, and loaded BBQ Fries.  They pair their entrees with their in-house, fresh cooked kettle chips, and you can keep your eye out for additional seasonal items according to supply.

Bentonville: Spud Doctors

There's not a lot of things more comforting or satisfying than a good, loaded baked potato.  This Food Truck in Bentonville has taken that comfort food into a whole new art form, with an amazing spud-based menu stuffed full of options.  You choose your base: a huge baked potato, in-house potato wedges, or in-house french fries.  Then, pick your toppings, which can range from Meatballs and from-scratch marinara, a Philly cheesesteak-inspired stack of steak and cheese sauce, or even a Veggie option with roasted cauliflower, spinach, bell peppers, and tomatoes.
