The Lewis family has been a part of the NWA community for over 75 year, and one of their biggest commitments is staying true to their family values of giving back to the residents of their home state. They want Lewis Automotive Group to be MORE than just a car dealership in NWA. The Lewis family has been in business for over 75 years after Herb “Buck” Lewis started the first Ford store off of Mountain Street in Fayetteville in 1946. And while the whole family and company remain committed to helping their customers find the perfect new car, they’re also constantly finding ways to give back to their community, by partnering with various schools, non-profits, and other charitable organizations. They also make sure to include holiday fun around the dealership every year, to make the dealership experience even better for both the customers and sales staff. This week, we wanted to highlight just a few of the promotions and partnerships that Lewis Automotive Group is participating in for the holiday season.
Trunk or Treat - October
Our Lewis Automotive Group team got together at the end of this October to hand out some candy to the tiny trick or treaters. We all even got into the spirit of the holiday with costumes for us, and the cars! We also had the privilege of having local partners here helping to hand out candy, such as Collier and Associates Real Estate and Macaroni Kid - Fayetteville.
Turkey Test Drive - November
Pick out a vehicle. Go for a test drive. Get a free turkey! It really was that easy. Whether our customers came in and test drove the 2021 Jeep Gladiator or the 2022 Ford F-250, or they just wanted to learn more about our Lewis Guarantee while they were here to see the new features and options on the 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, they earned a certificate to Harp’s for test driving a vehicle! They got up to $20 in Harp’s store credit for either a Turkey or Ham, to round out their holiday meal with the main course on us!
Shop with a Cop - December
We’ve been so privileged to partner with the Shop with a Cop program in Northwest Arkansas for years, and we got to hand out our checks to the local police departments again in 2021! We handed out checks to the Springdale PD, Elkins PD, Fayetteville PD, and Farmington PD, just to name a few of the local police departments we were able to give this opportunity to bring Christmas to the kids in their communities.
Ugly Sweaters - Every Friday in December
Our yearly tradition has started this month, where our sales staff compete in a friendly contest to out-do each other on the ‘ugly’ in Ugly Christmas Sweater. Every Friday, you’ll see us bedecked in our most over the top kitschy Christmas couture, to win the title and bragging rights of ‘Ugliest Sweater 2021.’ We counted down to Christmas last year as well, with plenty of pictures to document all the shiny, tasselled, colorful holiday cheer.
To be honest, this is actually a short list compared to all the other partnerships that Lewis Automotive Group has been participating in over the years in the NWA area. Whether it’s partnering with various small town Little League teams in the area, donating a car to local Driver’s Education programs, partnering with Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce, working with the local school districts like Prairie Grove, AR and Elkins, AR, or even loaning out new Ford Mustang Convertibles for school events and local parades, the Lewis family and Lewis Automotive Group as a whole have been staying involved in the Northwest Arkansas community and giving back wherever possible. Yes, Lewis Automotive Group is a great place to buy a new Ford or Jeep vehicle, but it’s also committed to being a fantastic asset to the people of NWA and giving back to the community. They’re making sure, from their family to yours, that their neighbors have wonderful Holidays.
