At Lewis Automotive Group, we are big believers in Northwest Arkansas — and this weekend, one of the most exciting events in professional cycling is coming right to our backyard.

We are proud to announce that Lewis Automotive Group is a sponsor of the 2026 Walmart U.S. Pro Cup presented by Honey Stinger, taking place this week at Centennial Park in Fayetteville, AR. The event opens the 2026 U.S. XC Open Series and brings elite professional riders, rising junior athletes, and competitors from across the country to one of the most technically demanding cross-country mountain bike courses in North America.

A World-Class Mountain Bike Event — Right Here in Fayetteville

Centennial Park is no stranger to elite competition. The course has previously hosted UCI Mountain Bike World Cup events, giving it an international reputation that few venues in the United States can match. The 2.9-mile course winds through varied terrain featuring rock drops, fast flow sections, and punishing climbs — a true test for the best riders in the country.

Fayetteville has earned its place on the national mountain biking map, and events like the U.S. Pro Cup are a big reason why Northwest Arkansas continues to attract world-class athletes and outdoor enthusiasts from across the country.

Race Schedule — This Weekend at Centennial Park

Here's what's happening and when:

Friday, March 20 — Short-Track Racing

  • Elite Women: 10:30 AM
  • Elite Men: 11:00 AM

Short-track racing puts riders in close proximity and rewards explosive power and technical precision — fast, aggressive, and a perfect preview of Saturday's main events.

Saturday, March 21 — Main Race Day

  • Elite Women: 12:00 PM
  • Elite Men: 2:00 PM

Saturday is the main spectator day. Both races run multiple laps of the full cross-country course, giving fans the chance to post up at key features and watch the field come through repeatedly. One of the most popular viewing spots is World Cup obstacle No. 5 — locally known as "The Big Drop" — where a live DJ will be keeping energy high all day long.

Free Admission, Food Trucks & a Full Festival Experience

Beyond the racing, Saturday offers a full festival atmosphere with food trucks and a cycling expo on site. Admission is completely free, and complimentary parking is available at Centennial Park on a first-come basis. It is a great outing for families, casual fans, and hardcore cycling enthusiasts alike.
